Don't throw out that Eyeliner/Kajal/Lip balm yet!!!
When companies try smart ways of tricking consumers, we need to be quick to find ways of out-smarting them to make sure we are not taken for a ride.
For example, when we purchase our eyeliners, do we check the actual weight of the product versus the usable weight of the product? No? Me neither. Not until the last time when though I had purchased my new eyeliner, I just couldn't find it and had to do my eyes (in the car) before getting into a wedding reception. All I could find is this...my empty eyeliner. Don't ask me why was it still hanging around in my clutch.

Not having anything else at hand, I tried and tried and tried to get the teeney weeney bit to push itself out so I could just dot if not line my eyes. And that's when the accident happened!!!
Check out this video link and see what I discovered:
I was more stunned and surprised than excited. Went back the next day and checked for the product description. Says 0.35 gms. That's what I pay for. But about 10 gms is placed in such a way that it cannot be used and most often, if not always, is wasted!!!
Well, not in my case anymore.
But what I discovered after that was that this is not the case with just Kajals. My lip balm was designed in a similar manner so that of the 4 grams that I pay for, I would be able to use just about 2.5 grams. Here's proof:

It's disappointing to see well-established companies resorting to cheap (well, for them it works out not cheap at all) tactics.
Let me know if you check your beauty products and experience the same. Wouldn't it be helpful to make a list of all these trustworthy companies so that the next time we pick their products and pay for them, we ensure we use the entire product and not just a part of it.
