Simply Pretty Hairstyles

Three little daughters are a blessing! And a mother who loves experimenting simple hairstyles on them should consider herself really blessed since she has THREE very willing heads. My babies have been very tolerant and patient when I've tried to do this. Well, not VERY tolerant and patient, but I must hand it to them, considering they are so little and are still so willing to stay put while I tug and pull at their hair. No, it's not as bad as it reads. Besides, my second little one would barely bear any pain. The pain is forgotten when they see the pictures. And the look on their faces is what makes all of this worth it.

Here's the first one. If you are good with the french braids, then both these styles will not be as tricky as they look. Thank you my little Celeste Meyn!

The Bun French Braid

1. Part the hair a little on any one side. I chose the right.
2. Outlined a circle along the head so that you have enough hair in the center to tie up a pony.
3. Pull the pony and hold together with a band.
4. Begin the french braid from the little part on the right (in this case) and a little (really little) hair from the pony.
5. Continue doing this until you reach the other end of the part.
6. You will have the tail end which you can plait like a regular plait and secure with a band.
7. Carefully tuck this tail end into the gap you will find right at the point where the part was taken. The plait is safe and will not loosen nor slip out.

Ta-da!!!

 The Half-Headed Curved French Braid

Again, this is pretty simple if you are good with french braids.

1. Begin from either one side of the head. I've chosen the left this time.
2. This is only a half-french braid so just one side needs to be braided.
3. Continue braiding the half-french braid until you reach the point where the braid almost touches the beginning.
3. Secure into a simple plait or pony.

Simple!!!
